I have been wanting to visit this restaurant for years. I finally got there last week Tuesday. Fortunately for me the owner was there and we sat and enjoyed dinner along with another friend. Great food… the croquettes were great starters to go with my rum punch. The curried shrimp, rice and peas and jerk wings were delicious. We had a great time and I will definitely recommend this place. I will visit during the summer months as well.
The service is quick and efficient, the atmosphere is great and always find a spot with constant people coming and going. Food was good, jerk chicken was good a bit on the sweet side with a hint of spice but the rice was a bit over done and dry. The Roti was tasty and very generous plates. The fried plantains were AMAZING just how I used to have when I was younger!
Food was super tasty! Delicious cod fritters and home made hot sauce were the standouts. The curry was also excellent. Nice, cosy and lively place. Very friendly and accommodating staff. No toilets inside, but you can find public toilets nearby.
I urge everyone visiting London to make their way down to Brixton and visit Fish, Wings, and Tings! Nothing is better than food made with love. This food beats any 5 star restaurant you’ll search for. Auntie May will make sure you leave with a happy belly and will take care of you. My recommendations included the famous cod fritters and the reggae wings that will have you sweating! I also had the chicken roti and oxtail and I’ll tell you that you will leave there with a smile. Thank you to the staff for the hospitality especially in our last day in London!
Criminally underrated on Google. A couple of dishes offered here are some of the best Caribbean dishes you'll ever find anywhere in London. Banging Jerk Chicken with Tamarind sauce, and brilliant Coconut Curry Prawns. I do like the Homemade Ginger beer as well. Highly recommended.
Nice spot to lunch at Brixton Village Market. We had codfish fritters with ginger and lime aioli. The sauce was so tasty we wanted to take it home, and the fritters were crispy and fresh. Jerk chicken was tender and balanced. They had a selection of local and international beers.
Nice staff, great vibes and music.
Reasonable prices....food is delicious authentic Caribbean cuisine. Fresh Jerk and Roti amazing must try...cocktails are on point. Fritters with lime Aloi is tasty...good sitting tables outside...friendly professional serivce...the head chef is so knowledgable and skillful to watch her cook is a joy. The famous Black Farmer came and ate here too
Excellent salt fish fritters, the dip was a pleasant surprise the ginger really came through.
Mutton roti was proper comfort food and the chickpeas were plump and tender. As was the meat. Shrimp curry was lightly flavoured with coconut and the shrimp were juicy. Rice and peas wasn’t the best I’ve had but it was ok.
Great spot for lunch, or for groups. Service was alright and no fuss. It was a pretty windy day so sitting outside was fun but we ate well and the tunes were lively. 🇯🇲
